The TVGW Tours by Nexa on Friday, 15th September in Murano will focus on the different techniques and processes that bear witness to the rare manual skill and unmistakable creativity that have made and will continue to make Murano glass famous worldwide.

September 15th – MURANO

The morning tour will begin with a visit to the glass studio of Simone Cenedese, a highly original interpreter of the great tradition of art glass in the world. For 30 years, Simone Cenedese has been producing chandeliers and artistic objects and belongs to the younger generation of Murano master glassmakers, characterized by a renewed interest in combining glassmaking tradition and contemporary styles. As the master says, "everything is glass, in my works there are moments of my life, those fragments with a whole story inside". The second workshop is Gambaro&Tagliapietra, renowned for its production of art glass objects, small and large masterpieces of high craftsmanship; from traditional objects – bowls, vases, plates, animals, candlesticks, table lamps, carafes, goblets and drinking glasses, and sculptures – to true collectibles made in limited editions. Each piece is created by hand, checked and authenticated with Maestro Tagliapietra's signature.
