The tour focuses on Massimo Micheluzzi and his glass creations that pay homage to the centuries-old Murano traditions, and yet reveal a modern and original aesthetic. His tireless experimentation in materials and forms is firmly rooted in the life and history of the city and inspired by the atmosphere, light and architecture of Venice. Present in the collections of the world's most important museums, his creations can be viewed in the artist's studio, a place expressing all the passion of an eclectic approach that reflects the infinite creative possibilities of glass. His artworks include fluid and organic shapes, iridescent transparencies and opaque surfaces, as well as elaborate colour combinations, mosaic patterns and sculptural forms.
